About me:

A Franco-American visual artist of New York origin, Laurie Karp settled in Paris in 1979 after studying at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence (United States). She also spent time in Asia - a stay in Hong Kong followed by 2 years in Taiwan - as well Hawaii and Australia.

 

In her creation she favors metamorphoses, hybrid forms, and personal mythologies, working mainly in ceramic sculpture or embroidery on digital images. His artistic practices also include video, sound recording, drawing…
